At She-Oak Hill we consider ourselves very fortunate to have added a new member to our team. Andrea Neilson of Capito Wines has been working, as our wine agent for She Oak Hill since last December and has placed our wines ( vintages 2013 and 2016) in a range of restaurants, hotels, wine bars and bottle shops across Melbourne.

Recently I was invited to write a piece for the Heathcote Wine Growers Assoc. providing some background to myself and She-Oak Hill. What a pleasant respite from the concerns of CV19.

It has been a delight to receive feedback through our customers as they spend time during isolation sorting out their personal cellars and enjoying some of the treasures they come across.

Vintage 2020, in fact almost everything ’20 has been a horror year for vineyards and wineries as it has for pretty much everyone. Drought, fires, and searing heat saw grape yields reduced considerably.
